View from a window at Le Gras, video, 8 hours, dimension 20 x 25 cm, 2011

This video was inspired by Niecephore Niepce and with his the world’s first photograph in the history - View from a window at Le Gras (1826). Photograph was exposed 8hours, because of low sensitivity of bitumen. As result of the 8 hours exposure, the sun moved from east to west and sunlight illuminates the building on both sides. I was shooted this static picture from a book the same time and I created video, in which you could see some changes and color nuances in some moments.
